A charming pair of neat sized cloisonné Ginbari bud vases. These charming pieces are well matched in graduating lime green shades with a beautiful display of purple flowers. One example features a Irises and the other Wisteria. H9cm. In good order.
Ginbari is a skilled craft which combines use of wire to form shapes and motifs over a silver foiled underlay with enameled finish. Some craftsmen also pinch and shape the foil to create the separate cells.
