A Chinese famille rose fencai joss-stick holder, 19th century, painted with figures riding a qilin to the tapering shaft and figures congregating in a garden to the dish base, 24cm high

There is a ground of area to the rim of the dish base approximately 20mm across, wear to the gilding, occasional minor wear to the enamels and minor scratching to the glaze, otherwise in good condition.
