A worksplate, LONDON & NORTH EASTERN RAILWAY, 1908, GATESHEAD, 1897, from a North Eastern Railway 38 Class 4-4-0 which became LNER Class 17/2 No 1908. Withdrawn from Starbeck, it was condemned in November 1938. Cast brass, 9"x5", the front cleaned but unpainted. (Postage Band: C)
