A wonderful pair of Long Kesh Prison art wooden sculptures depicting stylised flames, with one example features Celtic knots and ridged detailing to base.

Long Kesh Prison (now known as HM Prison Maze) located in Belfast, was a used as a main detention centre for IRA POW's during the Troubles. It was the scene of the world famous Hunger Strikes which saw the death of Bobby Sands and the nine other POW's. A fascinating part of Ireland's turbulent political history.
