An original manuscript letter on embossed 'House of Commons' paper, signed by Richard Cobden, dated 17th January 1864, to the Duke of Argyll (member of the house of Lords), letter excerpt "The bearer and two neighbours from Rochdale are much interested in the Lord Chancellors County Court Amendments bill and I shall feel obliged by your giving these three orders of admission to your House", 11.5cm x 18.5cm approx., letter tipped-in onto card for display purposes.
