Provenance: These volumes come from the collection of James Grout - Actor - 1927 -2012. He was best known for playing Chief Inspector Strange in the television series 'Inspector Morse'. Colin Dexter, the author of the book series, was well known for his love of wordplay and 'Super Strange' refers to the character of Chief Inspector Strange played by James Grout in the television adaptation.
