WW1 Attributed Staff Officer's Cap. A very good example tailored by Tress & Co of London and retailed through Silvio Sesti of Cairo. A regulation pattern example with bullion Royal Crest badge mounted onto a scarlet band. Complete with thin leather chinstrap and to the interior the sweatband and lining of leather. The latter with gold tooled tailors details. Pencil name of "CAPT H. J. BUTCHART". VGC. Attributed to Lt. Col. H.J. Butchart DSO., TD., JP. Who in 1939 was listed as a representative of the TA Association University of Aberdeen.
