A 19th century gold and turquoise mourning brooch pin. The yellow gold brooch pin of scrolling form set with eleven graduating bezel set turquoise cabochons to mourning locket verso with glazed window and hairwork. The brooch pin also having a hinge pin and c-clasp to verso. Unmarked, surface tests indicate 18ct gold. Measures 4.2cm x 2.4cm. Weighs 6.7g. All weights, measurements and sizes are approximate.
