A fine and heavy, 'jewelled' silver box and cover of circular form: the domed cover with a raised amethyst finial polished en cabochon and above six pearls mounted below within circular 'rope twist' style surrounds, the wider lower main body similarly mounted with six further amethysts of pronounced projection and each flanked by individually applied C-scrolls headed with flower heads in high relief, gilded interiors and foliate style C-scroll engraving to the underside (approx. 88.5 grams, 6cm diameter).
