An early 19th century English porcelain tea service, possibly Coalport, moulded in low relief with floral reserves and cobalt blue border. Condition - varies

One of the pair of larger plates cracked inward from rim, almost reaching footrim. Twelve saucers structurally good. Six coffee cups- one handle missing and with badly-stained interior; one cracked downward from rim, approx. 5cm; others good. Eleven teacups - one with rivet-repaired dark crack; one rivet-repaired handle; one handle area repaired with repainting; one rivet-repaired full-width, clearly visible; one handle missing; others good. All with some signs of wear to enamels and gilding but not crazed. Both of the larger plates with impressed, top-heavy 2, an indication of Coalport according to the late Geoffrey Godden.
