A Louis XV style carved giltwood console table, the mottled red, grey and white marble top with serpentine front and sides, over a pierced scrolling foliate frieze centred by cusped foliage, raised on two double C-scroll supports carved with flowerheads and foliage, united by an arched stretcher with similar cusped foliage surmount enclosing a floral spray, on scrolled feet, 43 1/2 x 19 3/4in. (110.5 x 50.25cm.), 34in. (86.5cm.) high, marble top repaired. * Provenance: Windsor House Antiques, 27th September 1989.
