Victorian 1827 pattern Volunteer Rifles Officers Sword with single edged fullered blade 825mm in length. Etched decoration with Crown VR and Volunteer Rifles. Proof marked along with maker/retailers mark of "Jacob, Towcester". Leather washer still present. Wire bound shagreen grip. Guard with Rifles insignia. Overall length 975mm. Complete with scabbard with twin suspension rings and knot.

Two dents to scabbard. No nicks to edge of blade. Blade width 25mm. No jiggle.
