Elaborately polychrome painted with cartouche panels of Watteausque pastoral scenes and floral bouquets, after the original by Meissen, bearing Augustus Rex pale blue glazed monogram, King of Saxony and Poland, together with Meissen, a 19th Century blue and white porcelain top desk and pen holder, in ‘Onion’ pattern, bearing underglaze blue crossed swords mark.
