A group of seven WWII, British Police service and OBE medals. Awarded to Chief Constable Raymond Naylor Buxton of the Hertfordshire Constabulary. The group of medals including the miniature dress medals comprise of Medal of the Order of the British Empire, the E.IIR. Medal of the Order of the British Empire for meritorious service, the Queen’s Police medal, the War Medal 1939-1945, the Defence Medal 1939-1945, the Queen Elizabeth II Silver Jubilee Medal and the Police Long Service and Good Conduct Medal. Also included is paperwork in relation to the Order of the British Empire and a police college photograph depicting ‘Supt. R.N. Buxton’, a pair of RAF ID tags struck ‘1816054 Cong - Buxton’, a sterling silver Home Office badge and several police lapel badges. Condition report: Some minor wear with age.
