A FIRST WORLD WAR PAIR TO THE MANCHESTER REGIMENT. A Great War pair comprising War Medal and Victory Medal named to 6758 Pte. J.P. Holmes Manch R. Private John Percy Holmes served with the 16th (Service) Battalion (1st City) of the Manchester Regiment, 'C' Company Platoon No. IX. And also with the 10th (Service) Battalion of the Lancashire Fusiliers. He is recorded as being wounded on the 16th August 1916 and entitles to a wound stripe. *CR Cleaned and court mounted for display. A lot fee of £8 inc.
