66th (Berkshire) Regiment of Foot Victorian Officer Albert shako plate circa 1844-55. Fine rare die-stamped gilt crowned star, the principal rays bearing honours, mounted with laurel and palm sprays surrounding oval title strap; milled 66 to centre; DOURO mounted below the crown. Horizontal loops, three of four wires behind crown; orb split open, top pearl absent otherwise VGC.
