INDIA LETTER/DEAL COVER TO GB WITH NO MAURITIUS MARK AT ALL: 8 Dec 1822 EL (in French, some internal 'magic' sellotape inside) from Port Louis to London (11 Mar. 1823 red backstamp) unusually having only a boxed "INDIA LETTER/DEAL" mark (mostly fine on the front) with ms "1/8" charge (a brief letter asking the addressees to forward an enclosed letter).
