A 16 bore brass barrelled flintlock pistol by Wilkinson of Bristol, c 1820, 11½” overall, heavy half octagonal barrel 6” with B’ham proofs and engraved “Bristol”; signed stepped lock engraved with sunbursts and with roller on frizzen spring; plain walnut fullstock with rounded butt and brass mounts including trigger guard with pineapple finial; the horn tipped ramrod having iron worm.
