ARMY OF THE PYRENEES - "ARMEE DE PYRENNEES/OCCIDENTALES" MARK, ETC.; 12 Apr. 1794 EL (printed Military circular) from Bayonne (printed "ARMEES DES PYREEEES [sic!]" heading inside) charged "8" (dec.) to Libourne with v. fine "ARMEE DE PYRENNEES/OCCIDENTALES" mark nicely placed on the front and an unclear oval cachet across the seal, 28 Feb. 1795 EL (son to mother; flap faults) from "Garsain" to Vuet with partial "ARM DES PYR[nes. OCles.]" on the front, and 3 June 1795 EL from "Subsistence Militaire" dept. of "4e section Fournitures Extraordinaire" from St. Jean to Bayonne without postal marks signed "Poirier". Scarce trio.
