The Jaguar E-Type Series 2 was built from 1968 to 1971, and introduced a number of changes. The most distinctive was the absence of the glass headlight covers, and this step was applied worldwide for the E-Type. Other changes included bigger rear bumpers, larger front indicators, rear lights below the bumpers, an enlarged "mouth" which aided cooling, twin electric fans, and plastic rocker switches. New seats with head restraints were fitted, and the interior and dashboard were also redesigned. Air conditioning and power steering were available as factory options. Production according to Robson is 13,490 of all types.

This Jaguar E-Type Series 2 2+2 has had only 2 registered owners, the first who bought it new and kept it untill 2019. The car is said to be matching numbers, and it has been re-trimmed inside. It has had new chrome wire wheels spinners and tyres, a new radiator, a new alternator, and a new steering wheel. In all about £3.5k has been spent. The car is described as being in generally nice condition, with reasonable paintwork and good mechanicals.
