KPM (ROYAL BERLIN WORKS), A LATE 19TH/EARLY 20TH CENTURY HARD PASTE RETICULATED BASKET
Twin handled serving basket, with pierced lattice work decoration applied with encrusted sprays of flowers, the interior polychrome painted with Deutsche-Indianische Blumen leaves, butterflies and insects, the exterior moulded with flowerheads within gilt borders, with organic twist handles terminating in apple green, raised on original unusual fitted circular German silver base, fully marked ‘Arister Carre’, bearing underglaze blue sceptre factory mark.

Condition: very good, only one tiny nib to flowerheads
