A MATCHED SET OF FOUR WINDSOR ARMCHAIRS, 19th century, Nottinghamshire region, in ash and elm, the low hoop back with pierced fleur-de-lys splat, baluster turned arm supports, saddle seat, raised on ring turned tapering legs with vase feet joined by a crinoline stretcher, 20 3/4" x 13 1/4" x 34 1/2" (Illustrated) (Est. plus 24% premium inc. Generally very good condition, a set of three, the fourth with minor difference to underarm turning. Replaced crinoline to one of the three, spurs original. Fine split to seat of another running about a third, filled and polished. Upper part of sp;at of one of three possibly replaced (??). All well patinated with slight varnish finish.
