A worksplate YORKSHIRE ENGINE 2625 of 1956. From a standard gauge 0-4-0 diesel electric locomotive new to Stanton Ironworks Co Ltd, Ilkeston, Derbyshire, numbered STANTON No 47. Later became part of British Steel Corporation and transferred in August 1974 to Teesside Works, Middlesbrough. Disposed of for scrap in May 1978 to T.J. Thomson & Son Ltd, Stockton. Cast brass, 11"x6", ex loco condition. (Postage Band: C)
