A WW1 ERA IMPERIAL GERMAN FORCES OFFICERS SWORD, the sword has the crisp markings of the maker Weyersberb Kirschbaum & Cle Solingen and the helmet/WK&C. The blade is in very good condition, and the black metal scabbard is in nice undamaged condition, Brass handguard has some Gothic text which has not been possible to read, as to the head of the pommel with initials, the Kaisers Wilhelm II crest is formed in the handguard, with a much smaller crest applied to the Shark fin grip
