Air Mails. 1929 (Mar 27) Cover from Kuching to England franked 6c + 12c, bearing a blue "BY AIR MAIL" label and inscribed "Marseille - London", backstamped at Singapore (Apr 1), a G.B ½d applied and cancelled upon arrival (Apr 27). 30 Sarawak covers flown by air from Marseille to London, arriving two days before the surface mails, an extra 12c postage charged for this air service. Fine and scarce.
