Scarce antique pocket globe made by Lane of London. Dated 1818 and supplied in original hinged fitted case.

Outer case is missing catch on one side, there are missing pieces all round the edges and chips, the celestial part is missing varnish in places considering its age it is good to be in one piece.
Globe - is pretty good retaining good gloss finish with some rougher patches on Southern Africa, few surface scratches some pin holes, solid condition no flaking.
