An ormolu mounted Sampson white porcelain elephant , after Meissen, 19th century, realistic features, modelled standing upon a oval ormolu base, raised on four foliate scroll feet, 12¼in. (31.2cm.) wide, 11in. (28cm.) high. (restoration)
*Condition: Professional restoration to trunk, last third been off and re-attached, slight discolouration, back left foot with outside toe missing, fixing screws with rust etc, overall very pleasing.
