A SET OF FOUR MONUMENTAL CHINESE CARVED WOOD DOOR PANELS, LATE QING / REPUBLIC PERIOD. Each of tall rectangular form insert with finely painted gilt decorated black lacquer panels depicting figures in courtyard scenes with calligraphy, between two rectangular sections carved in relief with key fret and treasured items. The upper section with large carved and pierced panels depicting a vase with floral bouquets and scholar objects under a smaller black lacquer and gilt panel decorated with gilt floral sprays.
