An 1897 bronze Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Medal established by Wilhelm II to celebrate the 100th birthday of his grandfather Emperor Wilhelm I, various other commemorative medals and a good quantity of military and other buttons badges. There is also a brass set to help clean the buttons. The Kaiser medal (see 2nd and 3rd photos) was struck from metal from captured cannons. It is 40mm diameter. The other medallions in the 4th and 5th photos (showing both sides) include a gold colour Elizabeth 11 coronation June 1953 coin approx. 4.4cm in diameter and weighing about 41 grams; one to mark the fallen of the Battle of Jutland and others to mark the 60 anniversary of the reign of Victoria in 1997; a Borough of Hammersmith Victory and Peace medallion; a county of Middlesex medallion for the George V/Queen Mary silver jubilee; another with ribbon to commemorate the coronation of George VI and Elizabeth in 1937; and a 1930 copper French medallion.
