Attributed 1827 Pattern Victorian Royal Navy Officer's by Wilkinson
31 1/2 inch, single edged blade with wide fuller. Etched foliage scrolls, crowned anchor and royal coat of arms. Double etched scrolls "Edward Montagu RN From F.B.W. 16th Sept 1869". The forte with maker "Henry Wilkinson Pall Mall London". Brass guard with Vic crown over anchor cartouche. Brass lion mask pommel and backstrap. Shagreen covered grip with twist wire binding. Contained in its black leather scabbard with brass mounts. The throat with "Wilkinson Gun & Sword Maker Pall Mall London" shield.
