A pair of early 19th century English porcelain plates in the Tournai manner each painted with a central vignette of a bird in a landscape, the rim with panels of birds and insects reserved on a gilded dark blue ground, possibly Bloor Derby, 23cm [minor wear]. * A Tournai service of this pattern was ordered by Louis Philippe, Duc d'Orleans in 1787.
