An Edwardian mahogany bonheur du jour, crossbanded with walnut and boxwood and ebony strung, the top with glazed doors opening onto a loose shelf, above a fall-front writing slope, revealing a fitted interior with two short drawers and letter-rack shelving, having two further short drawers with brass swan-neck handles under, on tapering square supports with spade feet.
