JAPANESE SATSUMA LIDDED JAR. A late 19thc lidded jar of ovoid form, with alternating panels of figures and various insects, and with further painted decoration. With an internal lid and pierced cover, some damages. Signed to the base and lid, 18cms high. ** Lid has been broken in half and repaired, and possibly missing a finial.
Internal lid, has also been broken and repaired.
Base, couple of small chips to the footrim, some discolouration.
