WW2 US M1 Helmet Made by McCord. The shell is batched marked 1266D which means it was made Nov-Dec 1944 which means this is one of the first batch of rear seam helmets when the changed the rim to manganese steel which did not shine like the earlier stainless-steel rims once the paint wore off.
