Naval Long Service and Good Conduct Medal, adapted into menu card holder for use in officer's mess. Medal awarded to James Leary Stoker, HMS Hector inscription to stand 'Presented by Lieut D Hey 24.04.02' HMS Hector (1862) was armoured frigate that patrolled the English Channel and was later assigned as guard ship to Queen Victoria during her summer residence on the Isle of Wight. The ship was eventually sold for scrap in 1905.
