Railway. BR Steam. A box of several hundred, black and white contact prints, plus a box of larger prints, both black and white and some colour prints. Also, included with the lot are 2 photographic yearbooks from 1947 with detailed notes relating to the contact prints. An interesting lot of contact prints as they date from 1947-49. Most have full captions on the reverse and mainly feature BR (E) and BR (M) steam locomotives and scenes, mainly in Yorkshire. There are also some stations, infrastructure and rolling stock prints. Locations noted: Bentham, York, Penistone, Ulleskelf, Beverley, Newcastle, Doncaster, Bolton Percy, Worsborough Branch, Cottingham, Starbeck, Leeds , Cudworth and others. Sadly there are no negatives with the photographs. Copyright does not pass to the buyer.
