A smokebox numberplate, 45028, from a LMS Class 5 4-6-0 No 5028 built by Vulcan Foundry, Works No 4573, in 1934, becoming BR 45028. A long time Mold Junction engine, it finished its days at Carlisle Kingmoor from where it was withdrawn in March 1967 and sold for scrap to Campbells at Airdrie. Repainted. (Postage Band: D)
