A Staffordshire figure of a Greenwich Hospital pensioner, circa 1850, modelled as a seated sailor with peg leg, dressed in naval uniform and tricorn hat, his right arm leaning on a lion claw-footed table holding a jug, his left raising a mug, polychrome enamel painted with gilded detail, mounted on a white, circular, gilt-lined base, 21cm high.
