Belgium: 1905 Liege World Fair collection in dark blue ‘SAFE ’ binder with over eighty well-presented and written up pages of over 330 vignettes plus impressed on card, award labels and other promotional material such as official postcards, commercial letters and bills. Some 15 different types of vignette with wide range of varieties including imperf/perf, paper colour, imprint/ no imprint, much mint and many postally-used on official, promotional and other postcards. From the collection of Tom Pring, a highly respected member of the Belgian Study Circle and the author of two works on Belgian issues, ‘Fine Barbe Varieties’ (2009) and ‘1893 Armoires du Royaume’ (2015). Pring was half-way through a work on the Ostend-Dover Route, which he was sadly unable to complete.
