Victorian centre table of exceptional quality. The serpentine shaped top is decorated in veneers of rose, satin and amboyna wood and stands on four fabulous cabriole legs each having good quality ormolu mounts at the top and terminating with ormolu sabots. The beautifully shaped frieze has a ormolu mount to the front and conceals two drawers at either end which are stamped and marked by maker John Metcalfe Richmond. [73x121x74cm]
