AN EDWARDIAN SILVER HOT MILK JUG by Lambert & Co., London 1903, of lobed baluster form, the hinged domed cover with ball knop and waisted thumbpiece, hinged spout cover and eared fruitwood double C scroll handle, base engraved 'Lambert, Coventry St., London', 8 1/2" high, 19ozs 16dwts gross (Est. plus 24% premium inc. VAT)
No engraving, clear marks, very good gauge and quality. Sadly the handle has been repaired at some point and may not be the original with heavy use of glue and pins missing.
