A 19th century Continental enamel and gilt metal necessaire in the Rococo manner, painted with reserves of exotic birds within scrolling gilt border on lilac ground with jewelling, the interior partially-fitted with bodkin, nail-file, scissors and needle-case, 10 cm high
Overall good condition with no losses to paintwork or gilding, however there is a large crack to non opening side of base
