A VICTORIAN ETRUSCAN REVIVAL BOSS BROOCH, centrally set with a pearl within a red micro-mosaic border with gilt metal inscription "Este Felix" (Be Happy) within a red guilloche enamel rim in a rope twist and bead mount, unmarked, cased (Est. plus 24% premium inc. VAT)
Unmarked and untested, possibly 15ct?, 6.3g gross, 2.2cm diameter. Good, velvet case worn to exterior and velvet fraying to interior but appears to be original. Base of box has an old Italian(?) yellow printed label "... sposizione a Londra..." and "... edaglia Consiglio ..." and a street scene with horse and carriage
