French black slate and grey veined white marble two train mantel clock, the 4.75" slate chapter ring enclosing a recessed visible escapement, the movement striking on a gong, within a pillared temple stepped case, 14.75" high; also two other black slate mantel clocks, drumhead movement and two spelter mantel clocks (6)
The movements do appear complete though tired in condition, there are also pendulums to three of the clocks, the marble case drumhead dial and movement is incomplete and would have been mounted upon a base of some sort, there is a recess ready for the missing pendulum to hang below, this particular dial has hairline cracks various, the back glass is also cracked and damaged, all the clock movements will need attention though some more minor than others, the smaller black slate has the plinth plates to the front and side missing, these are retained though the side plate is damaged with losses, the clock with dog and sheep also is incomplete with mounting points for a lower case, the pendulum would need to hang into a case, the cherub with dragon is a completely loose figural ornament therefore could be from a separate clock though fits this one size wise quite well
