Clarice Cliff - Tennis - A matched Stamford shape early morning breakfast set circa 1930, comprising teapot, milk, sugar, two cups, two saucers and a side plate, all hand painted with an abstract line design with net motif and red, pink and yellow banding, Bizarre mark.
Provenance - The teapot, milk and sugar were lot 346 - Clarice Cliff & Susie Cooper - Christies South Kensington - 7th November 1991.
There is a small star crack to the base of one cup, there is a small frit/chip to the front right corner of the teapot cover.
