** a note from the vendor - This unique wartime poster was painted on canvas after 1940 in German occupied Holland early in the war. Surprisingly, this was an American film (titled in the USA as Jungle Girl), starring Frances Gifford. Extreme wartime scarcity of paper would have necessitated the one-off painted canvas poster, which has a central Commission for film-screening stamp on the front and a label on the back
** amazingly good condition given wartime survival - some paint loss along the fold lines
