Chinese Sancai glazed Mingqi earthenware pottery standing female tomb attendant figure bearing a wash bowl, moulded in a typical Ming dynasty style, on a hexagonal base with detachable head. Overall 52cm high approx.

General glaze loss overall, very grubby, significant chips to the body, the bowl and base. Damage to the neck with evidence of possible repair, glaze erosion, glaze losses.
Head has some chips particularly to the cresting of the headress. Would have originally been one of a pair with a companion male figure.
