SOUTH AFRICAN HISTORICAL MINT, LIMITED EDITION SET OF TWELVE 18 CARAT GOLD 'GENERALS OF THE ANGLO-BOER WAR' COMMEMORATIVE MEDALLIONS, 92/250, comprising busts of Frederick Roberts, Pieter Cronje, Redvers Buller, Georges Villebois-Mareuil, Jacobus De La Rey, Horatio Kitchener, John French, Christiaan De Wet, Robert Baden-Powell, Louis Botha, James Hertzog and Jan Smuts, each with standard conjoined flag reverse 'Anglo-Boer War 1899-1902', each signed 'Pagliari' and 'Verboom', South African hallmarks for 1977/1978, 45mm diameter, 44.5 grams, 534 grams gross. Contained in a blue lined case, accompanied by a certificate stating the set is number 92 of 250, dated 1977, together with a copy of a booklet 'Commemorative Medallions A Guide for South African Collectors'

Each medallion contained in a plastic case. Two medallions (Frederick Roberts and Louis Botha) with South African hallmarks 'CM' 1977, the others with South African hallmarks 'SAHM' 1978. Set lacks certificate, was produced as a limited edition of 250 sets.
