Early 20th Century Officer's Tropical Pith Helmet Possibly Indian Regiment
cream khaki, six panel crown. Pointed peak and rounded rear brim with leather edging. Linen, multi fold pagri band with grey top fold. Inner green lined brim (some moth). Leather sweatband with "Bombay" maker. Crown with "Hawkes & Co" maker's stamp. Brass chin chain (backing absent). Top crown button absent. Contained in its japanned tin transit box.
