£950
A 9ct gold enamelled charm bracelet by Cropp & Farr, Birmingham 1953, the oval link chain with spring ring and loop fastener, suspending eight enamelled charms of game birds and fish to include, pheasant, mallard duck, partridge, goose salmon etc, 19cm long, weight 19.8gms (at fault)
Overall condition is good. The links show no splitting or repair. There are a few links which show thinning or some light denting/misshaping, and there is scratching and general wear consistent with age and use, but the chain is in good order and is secure. The safety chain is in good order, no splitting, thinning or repair. The spring ring is in good order, opening smoothly and closing securely. All the charms are present and secure. All charms show some damage to the enamel, varying from minor to moderate, and it is concentrated to the edges. Most damage is to the glaze and can only be seen under 10x magnification, and is on the surface of the enamel. On the grouse, there is a small patch of enamel missing, revealing the gold beneath. This can be seen by the naked eye (see pictures for illustration).
There are 9ct marks to all of the oval links, but none to the connectors or spring ring. Four of the eight charms have 9ct marks to the reverse, the other pieces have no marks.
